At Kate Towson Marketing, we use fundraising and marketing to help Philadelphia-area nonprofits tell their stories with greater impact, ensuring people can connect with the heart of their mission.
For the six years I was Development Director for Women's Empowerment, I was responsible for overseeing the philanthropic and marketing efforts of the organization. During that time, I oversaw Annual and Individual Giving, led seven Gala fundraising events, and managed more than $300,000 in private foundation grants.
While at Sacramento Steps Forward, I successfully launched their website, as well as overseeing several social media campaigns. I raised funding for multiple Homeless Connect events throughout the city. I also raised the seed funding to help start Sacramento's first rotating winter shelter for homeless people.
Through my work with Kristin Thebaud Communications, I provide four Sacramento-area nonprofits (Society for the Blind, United Way, Women's Empowerment and Sacramento Life Center) with assistance in grant-writing, grant research, public relations, marketing and more.
